Please keep these points in mind when using the Buddy Revival avatar maker.
Using the tool
Buddy Revival is offered as a free character customization and animation tool. Use it responsibly and do not use the site to harass others, interfere with the service, or misrepresent your connection to another person or organization.
Original assets and attribution
The original BuddyPoke character data, artwork, animations, and texts belong to Buddy Labs and are included for preservation. Buddy Revival is an independent project and does not claim ownership of those original assets. Access to the tool does not transfer rights to them.
The project’s application code is released under the MIT license. That code license does not cover the original character assets.
Captions and shared files
You choose the names and captions included in exported files. Review the result before publishing or sharing it, and make sure your use of any added material is appropriate for the place where you share it.
Availability and saved preferences
Browser capabilities and device performance affect animation playback and export. H.264 encoding is required for MP4; GIF is the alternative when it is unavailable.
Looks are stored locally when your browser permits it. Keep a copy of important buddy codes, as browser storage may be cleared and is not backed up by an account. Features and availability can change as the project develops.
